I am an american Doctor Who fan now living in Los Angeles. I first saw DW in the mid-70s when Time-Life aired Pertwee stories. I saw only one of these, "The Time Monster" I believe. I remember the car, so it could have been a different story. I did not become a fan, though, until PBS started airing Tom Baker stories round about 1982.
