Takes place immediately after BF story "Dark Eyes." Molly has left the Doctor to go back to the war and Dr. Sally Armstrong was alive again, thanks to Molly's changing history for the better. The Doctor invites Sally to join him on an adventure in time to see the first calculator, but things never go according to plan with the Doctor and instead they get mixed up in a fairy war.

If she were to tell anyone her suspicions, she would be locked away, but a mysterious man called the Doctor comes to her and Merry can't help but tell him the whole story. Not only does the Doctor believe her, he also believes these aliens are sick themselves and in need of a doctor to heal them. The Doctor and Merry race against time to find a cure for the illness and a cure for Merry's troubled heart.
