Well, I've been a fan of Doctor Who since I was about 4, when I saw Spearhead from Space on Video (the new series was announced close enough to my birthday for me to count it as a present). Favourite doctors run to 10 of them (never got into Paul McGann) and I tend to ignore the spin-off novels unless I happen to feel like it.
