| I'm a Mom, a writer, and a teacher. I dabble in art, am always in the middle of six or seven books, and I'm an old-school science fiction fan. I write fanfiction because I love to play with other people's characters. I'm new to the Whoniverse, but wrote Buffy the Vampire Slayer fiction for many years, and Ultima fanfiction way back in middle school. Also, my daughter has followed me on this Doctor passion. For her 13th birthday, she requested that I make her a Dalek cake. It turned out quite well, and was totally gratifying to eat, because inside was vanilla pudding and ball bearings you could eat.
