| One Friday night near the beginning of spring semester, I happened to be alone in the apartment and in the mood for some tv-watching. I noticed that there would be a "two-hour Doctor Who" series kickoff on the Sci-Fi Channel (which luckily is a part of standard cable in Berkeley), and decided to watch. I remembered watching a handful of episodes of classic Doctor Who late at night on PBS many years ago, and decided to give this new Doctor Who a try. I've been addicted ever since. I used to write Harry Potter fanfic (penname sparkly_lairy_fights), but I've had severe writer's block for a very long time. Hopefully, I'll be able to overcome this obstacle and finish a few whofic plots that have been floating through my head. | |
