| It's my ambition to write stories that the likes of Russell T Davies, Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat, Gareth Roberts, Helen Raynor et al, would classify as the kind of thing the BBC might broadcast to its target audience of 'eight year olds' of all ages! I'm a middle-aged English woman, married (at time of writing) for over 33 years to the same man, heavily into escapism (like quite a few of us on this site!), and who thinks the characterization of the Tenth Doctor confirms my contention that David Tennant is a contender for the best actor not only of his own generation but quite conceivably a couple either side (and, yes, I'm aware that includes Olivier, Gielgud, Richardson, McKellen, et al!). (PS - April 2013: I apologize for the fact that the fifth instalment of the Tenth Doctor's and Finn's story is taking so long to appear - I'm having to write the last three segments of the story arc simultaneously to ensure consistency, and the flippin' day job keeps getting in the way!) | |
