| Creative Writing has been in my blood since I was in 9th grade. Writing fan fic just came naturally, my very first story being one in the A L I E N S universe. My favorite universes to write in are Doctor Who, Vampires, Doctor Who, Star Trek and Doctor Who. Oh, and yes, Doctor Who. I resisted liking Doctor Who for ages, but then Peter Davison was the guest at a Gallifrey convention my husband and I were vending at. He came by the table when everyone else was away and charmed me completely off my feet without even trying, by just being...him. A shy smile, gentle demeanor...he is as "sunny" in real life as his Doctor incarnation was often called. I asked my husband for all the Davison tapes we had on hand and before I finished watching "Castrovalva", he was My Doctor. Many incarnations of the Doctor are near and dear to me; David Tennant, Paul McGann (whose musically-toned voice is unrivalled by any Doctor IMO) and Sylvester McCoy (everyone's favorite uncle-figure) but you always remember your First Doctor and how lucky I feel that it was Peter Davison. | |
