A Teaspoon And An Open Mind: A Doctor Who Fan Fiction Archive

Greetings!

I'm a 23.5 year old American girl about to graduate with a degree in Mathematics Education and move on to (a more useful) one in Systems Engineering. I spend the rest of my time on LJ, writing as much Doctor Who fic as I can. Friend my fic journal for fic update notices, authorly updates, some smaller fics that I might not post elsewhere, and rambles about Doctor Who and Torchwood.

I'm mostly a New Who fan, though I adore Classic Who as well and even learned to knit just so I could make myself a (somewhat) authentic Four scarf. I write varying combinations of gen, slash, OT3, crack, angst, character investigation, hurt/comfort, and whump. Being American, my English is not exactly the Queen's, so Britpicking of dialogue for word usage is always welcome. American vs. British spelling couldn't bother me less, but the various characters' voices are important.

In (sadly not so) recent news, I have embarked upon an epic project: a full 13 episode Doctor Who fan spinoff series based in the future AU of Growing Pains. The series, puntastically titled GP Who, will be "airing" here on the 'Spoon, but update notices and meta rambles will only be available at my LJ fic journal.

Unfortunately, progress on this project has stalled. It's on a back burner, simmering away and growing in depth and complexity every day. It shall return!

I think that covers all the important bits. :-)

Cheers,
Adalia

Doctor Who and its accoutrements are the property of the BBC, and we obviously don't have any right to them. Any and all crossover characters belong to their respective creators. Alas no one makes any money from this site, and it's all done out of love for a cheap-looking sci-fi show. All fics are property of their individual authors. Archival at this site should not be taken to constitute automatic archive rights elsewhere, and authors should be contacted individually to arrange further archiving. Despite occasional claims otherwise, The Blessed St Lalla Ward is not officially recognised by the Catholic Church. Yet.
