A Teaspoon And An Open Mind: A Doctor Who Fan Fiction Archive

New York based writer, musician and rabid Doctor Who fan since the 1970's (it started with Tom Baker, but the love affair has never ended). I admit a particular soft spot for Peter Davison, but have enjoyed each and every Doctor, from Hartnell on up.

Have been a fan of Farscape, Robin of Sherwood, The Prisoner, Blake's 7, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica (old and new), The Avengers, Tripods, Highlander, Stargate SG1, Dark Shadows, Buffy/Angel, and have collected all of the above... among others. (As I sit here writing this I wonder... do I need to get out more?)

BUT nothing has ever inspired quite the way Doctor Who has. The Doctor captures you, your imagination and just doesn't let go. From a little girl's fantasies of a world beyond, to a young woman's dreams for a better world, a better tomorrow. The Doctor makes you better.

It's great to have this forum... but I have a terrible habit of writing several stories simultaneously. I read books that way too. If there's something you like, please feel free to give feedback, it helps keep me focused. Otherwise, I'll never finish.

I've been out of the loop for a while... after an injury, shoulder surgery and several life-changing events. But I think it's time to dust some of these old stories off.

Let's see if I can do anything to improve my writer's block!

It's lovely to see the new series bring together so many fans both old and new. Looking forward to having the Doctor around for another 40 years!
