| I was first introduced to the world of New Who mid-2007. I am an avid fan of Heroes, and I was searching for Christopher Eccleston's Who. Instead, I found Tennant Who. The first full episode I watched was Fear Her, and I wasn't all that impressed with the effects, and Chloe Webber annoyed the hell out of me, but I was still intrigued, so I watched the next episode that came my way (Love and Monsters), and found it a lot more enjoyable. Oddly enough, I only ever watched for the comedy, and I couldn't stand the character of Rose Tyler. I rented the entire show on Netflix first chance I got and quickly came to love the show for all it stood for. I even came to love Rose Tyler! I'm an avid Ten/Rose shipper, although I've developed a great liking to Ten2/Rose. I won't object to Nine/Rose, but it has to be well-written, and I really have no desire to write my own. |
