Hi there. My name is Jess. I'm a teenager in suburban Australia, and I've been watching Doctor Who since the ABC first began to repeat it in 2003. Over 2005 and 2006, I wrote a few different pieces of fanfiction, only one of which was ever posted here (the least embarrassing - which would probably still be embarrassing if I could bring myself to read it!). I'm considering picking up the pen again and writing more fanfiction (as opposed to the original fiction I usually write), so that might change at some point.
In terms of what I like to read, fanfiction-wise, I love to read sprawling, complex plot lines with fascinating characters (from the show or not). I'm not really interested in the "shippy" side of fandom; it doesn't ruin a story for me, but I don't really care for it. I'm too fond of plots! |
