Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this. Hopefully you are currently reading (and enjoying??) my current story The Random Element. Watch out for part two of this story, coming soon. It's called Plus Ca Change.
Anyway, a little bit about me. I'm an ex-accountant turned photography student from Tyne and Wear. Like most people, I used to watch Doctor Who when I was younger (not giving away my age!) but gave up on it as I got older and it became less, erm, watchable.
However, since Russell T has worked his magic, I have now rediscovered this fantastic programme. I think the stand alone episode format with a series theme has transformed the show, making it far more watchable than those old six-week storylines of days gone by.
As for favourites, I can't decide between nine and ten; both have their good points. I think generally the stories featuring nine were stronger (apart from those featuring the slitheen), although one of my favourite episodes ever was ten's The Girl in the Fireplace.
I also have a soft spot for three - Invasion of the Dinosaurs was just fantastic.
Along witjh probably 99% of Who fans, I was distraught when Rose left and I have to admit to shedding a few tears at the end of her last episode. (Then again I was blubbering all the way through 'Father's Day'!)
Like many budding authors on this site, I have attempted to reunite Rose and the Doctor, but you'll just have to read the two part story to see if I was successful!
Other sci-fi loves are Star Trek (original and Next Gen) and Stargate SG-1. (Am I allowed to say that on here!?)
Anyway, that's all I can think of just now, so please give my story a try and let me know what you think.
Bye for now!
