| Creative writing/anthropology/zoology undergrad student at the Ohio State University. I adore writing short, angsty to semi-angsty Doctor/Rose UST fics. Working on some longer fics, though. Brit-picking is 100% welcome and encouraged; I'm also writing a novel set in London and can use all the random information I can get! I'm American, and that's not going to change anytime soon (at least until I finish my education), but I'm a Brit at heart...I spent the summer of 2007 studying in Scotland and didn't particularly want to come back! Updates are infrequent for the most part. Bloody schoolwork. I've resolved for the new year to give myself more writing time, but we'll see how that goes. While he wasn't my first (I watched VHS tapes, mostly of Four and Five, long before the new series), Nine is my Doctor. I love him and miss him and really wish that he'd stuck around longer. I loved Rose but I love Martha too, and I think I just might love Donna. She's growing on me. Like a fungus. I won't talk about Astrid, because if you can't say something nice... Favorite pairings, in no particular order: Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose, Ten/Jack, Master/Rose, Two/Jamie, Eight/Fitz, Four/Romana, Nine/Rose/Jack, Two/Zoe/Jamie, Doctor/Master (any incarnations, but especially Theta/Koschei). For Torchwood, Jack/Ianto is my OTP. Yes, I'm a perpetual and incurable slasher. Not that I want to be cured. Also, I've realized that in my personal canon, only the even-numbered Doctors (plus Academy!Doctor) ever got any action. This is odd. Especially considering how hot Five was (and still is, really, I mean damn, has Peter Davison aged well). But oh well. My beta/idea-bouncer-person/partner-in-crime is the lovely Kalysta, my non-evil ex-boyfriend, whom I introduced to Doctor Who and the fantastic world of the Whovian fandom. And she's absolutely wonderful. And she's finally posted some of her fanfic, and it's so lovely, yes it is, and you should read it. :) | |
