When I was very young, my parents bought me a computer. The first thing I did was programme it. But when I discovered the joys of the word processor, I started writing Doctor Who scripts. I didn't realise I was being a fanficcer; I thought I was going to be like that guy who wrote "Full Circle", but unfortunately the series was cancelled before I worked up the courage to send anything in to the BBC. I carried on for a while, writing long complicated epics about Seven, Ace, and my thinly disguised analogues for Romana and Adric.
Almost twenty years later I seem to have come full circle. The only changes are that I don't write script format any more and I don't bother with the thin disguises. And there's slightly more porn. |
