ETA 2/13/14: I'm currently recovering from a recent illness and hospitalization, so my writing has slowed down some. I haven't forgotten about it, but it's been pretty hard to focus, as my attentions have been focused on getting better. I'll get back to it as soon as I'm able to, I promise.

I did it! I wrote 50,000+ words of fanfiction for NaNoWriMo 2013! And I've still got a lot more to go-What the Darkness Let In needs an ending, although I've been avoiding it because I've been writing it for so long it feels like a part of me. But I'm also well into A Rose By Any Other Name, and that has become a story so compelling that I feel like I must keep writing it! Thanks for your support-this is the only NaNoWriMo I've successfully completed after making many failed attempts, I'd like to think your kind encouragements are what made the difference. ;)

They say you never forget your first Doctor, and that's Nine for me. Ten was the Doctor that I fell in love with, though-I ship him and Rose hard, if you couldn't tell! Still, I like to explore other pairings as well, and Ten and Donna together is probably my favorite pairing for the series 1-4 era. Maybe one day I'll actually do something with the Rose and 11 ideas I have floating around in my mind (Actually, I did! See Sparrows and Nightingales, Roses and Thorns).

I feel like I have to put it out there though that I'm not one of those people who thinks Ten/the Doctor's only love is/was Rose. I love the romanticism of the pairing, but I think there was just as much unexplored potential chemistry between 10 and Donna (if not more!), and many of the other strong female characters he encounters throughout his tenure as the Doctor. I don't have a problem entertaining the idea of the Doctor having other love interests, and I do and will write about them. What I do have a problem with though are people who feel the need to bash on such writings purely because they think the Doctor only belongs with Rose. I think it's unspeakably rude. Rude and not ginger. Writing is a creative outlet, and the Doctor has shown us that all things are possible. Why not write about them?

I read as much as I write, and I try to always comment at least once. We're all like Skinner's rats, eager for the sugar pellet of a good review. I know I love getting them, so I try to give in kind, too. Constructive criticism always welcomed. ;-)

Doctor Who and its accoutrements are the property of the BBC, and we obviously don't have any right to them. Any and all crossover characters belong to their respective creators. Alas no one makes any money from this site, and it's all done out of love for a cheap-looking sci-fi show. All fics are property of their individual authors.
