Hello! It's taken me a while to get used to this site, but now that I have, I love it! I found fanfiction.net first - unfortunately - so most of my stuff is over there rather than here. I may transfer it one day, but some of the larger stories might take a bit of hassle. Anyway, if you want to read my stuff over there, you can find me at http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1006731/
A couple of you may notice this name *pokes "Avoria"* is from a character. The character isn't based on myself in the slightest, it's just it was a name that had been floating around my head for a while and I stuck it in here as my screenname without thinking. I like it now, so it ain't changing :P
A year and a half ago, a friend of mine turned to me and said "Have you heard of Doctor Who?" I groaned and rolled my eyes. My response was something like, "Yeah, wasn't it an awful sci-fi show years back?". He gave me one of those 'looks'... you know the ones. Not that dissimilar to the Doctor, all planning and devious. Then he said, "Do me a favour. Let me put the TV on when we're eating tea: you're in for a treat".
One glance at the show and I was intrigued beyond belief. I've since fallen for the show more and more, even David Tennant and probably Freema Agyeman, when it comes to it. I now have an unhealthy obsession and all my friends are sick of it. I eat, sleep and breathe Doctor Who, which isn't helping my A-leves any (A levels = really tough studies to those of you who aren't British). Once the new series starts, I'm going to be unbearable.
Thank god for RTD. That man is a genius.
Oh, and for those of you who have a stalkerish feeling inside you, You can find my LJ over at http://avoria.livejournal.com or even at my forum.
