I'm a nearly half-century old very genuine old maid, living with three cats in the Syracuse, New York area . I have a 2 year degree in Liberal arts/theater. 3 yrs. college in public relations/journalism. Was employed working 6 days a week as a TSR and before that , I worked 7 days a week as the sole laundry person at a Travelodge. Sad to say that I'm currenly unemployed, on disability...and basically stuck in my wee flat with nothing much to do. As an aside, I recently had to turn down my literal dream job--I was supposed to wear my cowgirl duds and work this summer at a wild west theme park in the Adirondack mountains as a wrangler-trail guide. Yes, I really can ride, rope and shoot--though truthfully, not all that well, ha-ha.
As for my love of all things "Who": I've been a serious Whovian for over 25 years, and used to be secretary of an Albany, NY based fan club in the late 1980's--which boasted over 400 members! I've also sat in "Bessie" the 3rd (and 4th) Doctor's car, one of the highlights of my life!
Interests: Dr who, horses, history, theatre, antiques, saddle-spur collection, model horse collection, railroads, reading, writing, liberal politics, volunteering, hanging around the outdoors-nature, riding horses, amateur cow milking, going to museums-historic homes, horseshoe pitching, & anything else which catches my fancy...or that I can still physically do.
Unusual fact about me: I once stood in a snowy field one 10 below zero (F) January day in 2009, laughing my ar*e off, getting licked head to toe by 5 very friendly Holstein cows. PS: cow slobber makes an excellent hair gel once it freezes. |
