My name is Milly, I'm a 23 years-old french canadian with a BA in history, a graduate diploma in college education and I'm starting a master in history (working on the history of immigration in the post-WWII Quebec). I plan to be a teacher, but the backup plan was always writting.
I started writting short stories (in french, which is my native language) at the age of 7, almost as soon as I learned how to write (I have books upon books of them). Won a few prizes, but ever since focussing on more academic-type essays and studies, I haven't written original fiction.
Learned english starting from age 9. I've been writting stories in english since my high school days, as per my getting involved in fandom.
I currently work as a guide in oldest cathedral in North America, averaging a gorgeous schedule of seven days a week. I'm more invovled in the vidding fandom, but I still write fiction. Most of it, if not all, is Doctor Who.
I've been a fan of Doctor Who since the Christopher Eccleston days and I have to say, this show has completely taken over my fandom time. I'm a die-hard fan of Billie Piper, with a definite girl-crush on Eve Myles, Catherine Tate and Freema Agyeman. I'm more focussed on companions, but I also adore the Doctor. Doctor/Rose fan to the core. |
