Why do humans always need protection?
It’s a question that’s puzzled him ever since he started travelling with them.
No matter where they go or what they do, they always seem to get into trouble.
And much as he might love showing them the wonders of the Universe, they do seem remarkably unsuited to life on other planets. It’s always too hot, or too cold, or too wet or too something!
Quite frankly, he wonders half the time why he even bothers.
But, as he slides a thin, gold band onto a cool, slender finger and looks up into a pair of brilliant blue eyes, no longer glaring at him, but instead fixed on him with a gentle, almost sympathetic, gaze and a lovely smile, her other hand clutching at the brown fabric of his jacket, he decides he doesn’t really mind after all.
Doctor Who and its accoutrements are the property of the BBC, and we obviously don't have any right to them. Any and all crossover characters belong to their respective creators. Alas no one makes any money from this site, and it's all done out of love for a cheap-looking sci-fi show. All fics are property of their individual authors. Archival at this site should not be taken to constitute automatic archive rights elsewhere, and authors should be contacted individually to arrange further archiving. Despite occasional claims otherwise, The Blessed St Lalla Ward is not officially recognised by the Catholic Church. Yet. |
