1. Prologue by Bobsyeruncle [Reviews - 4] (3665 words)
Had to tweak and change this story after I checked River's dates. She's 2000 years in the future.
2. Chapter 1 by Bobsyeruncle [Reviews - 1] (4281 words)
The Rani wiped the Seventh Doctor’s memory before she fled, and according to notes, can disguise her Tardis and herself even from other Time Lords.
3. Chapter 2 by Bobsyeruncle [Reviews - 3] (4956 words)
Doctor Nadifa Abdullah-Abdikarim who appears briefly in this story is an original character created for my Tom Meets Martha story. She is in fiction a medical Doctor and activist for Universal human and women’s rights as well as Tom’s superior. In the Whoverse Nadifa sustained scars when she was attacked for her views, but keeps up the good fight. Some may find the discussion about Martha and Nadifa’s ordeal upsetting but what happens to these fictional characters reflects one of the most insidious weapons of terror used against women all over the planet. The “spare” John Smith speaks of refers the Key to Time series when Romana was his companion.
4. Chapter 3 by Bobsyeruncle [Reviews - 4] (4776 words)
Pandora was a Gallifreyan matriarch, more a Warrior Queen sort, whom they executed by having her existence wiped out. I suppose having one’s existence wiped out hurts because legend is you can still here her dying screams. Romana was president of Gallifrey during the Last Time War. Time Lords, in some canon are sterile, and reproduce by cloning. In some canon, Susan is the last Gallifrey “born” before an ousted priestess cursed the planet.
5. Interlude II by Bobsyeruncle [Reviews - 4] (3968 words)
Chapter Five soon
6. Chapter 4 by Bobsyeruncle [Reviews - 3] (5363 words)
Author’s note: Picky Canon stuff: In Shakespeare’s Code Martha told the Doctor she worked in A&E. Because when we meet her, she’s doing rounds we can safely assume she was either in her FY1 or FY2, which would come after six academic/clinical years. When Martha calls Tom Milligan at the end of The Last of the Time Lords, he’s also working in A&E. Reminder: In Rose’ universe there was no Doctor or other Time Lord to rescue the people at Royal Hope. In fact, with no Doctor, one wonders why there is a Torchwood in Pete’s universe, but no matter. Martha, Sarah Jane, and Donna are dead in Pete’s universe in this story’s canon.
