I never intended to take such an extended break from this story, but when I posted Chapter 3, I'd just gotten a new job (where I write a lot) after being unemployed for way too long. Trying to balance a lot of new responsibilities with my sudden lack of free time ended up with me shelving this fic for a few months. But never fear, it's back!
