2. Part 1: "A Thing Once Forgotten" - 1: Our Plastic Pals by Tron [Reviews - 8] (4614 words)
3. Part 1: "A Thing Once Forgotten" - 2: Hello, Mr. President by Tron [Reviews - 4] (4118 words)
4. Part 1: “A Thing Once Forgotten” - 3: Girl’s Got Moxi by Tron [Reviews - 5] (5724 words)
I would like to remind everybody that this is an AU fic, so any changes I make to the props in season 16 of the Fourth Doctor's era is totally justified! Yes, I know the Seal of Diplos is supposed to be a cluster of some sort of precious and very shiny jewels, but well... That doesn't quite work with my plot you see. Just enjoy it and don't think too hard about the parts that I changed from the TV show. That's what I always do! Ta!
5. Part 1: “A Thing Once Forgotten” - 4: A Trip to the Principal’s Office by Tron [Reviews - 5] (5591 words)
More fiddling with the events of season 16. And a bit more of my plot is revealed! Hooray!
6. Part 1: “A Thing Once Forgotten” - 5: Just a Little Bit More Complicated by Tron [Reviews - 8] (3648 words)
This bits more emotional than the previous chapters. Not much more info on the plot though. I just thought that we could all do with a little bit of angst.
7. Part 1: “A Thing Once Forgotten” - 6: Finals Week by Tron [Reviews - 5] (6260 words)
Okay, that's part one over! Enjoy!
8. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 1: Are You Resting Comfortably? Good! by Tron [Reviews - 8] (1790 words)
Okay, you're all going to hate me for this, but... I'm going to do it anyway. I'm changing character POVs and it seems like I'm changing plots too, but it's all interconnected. I was going to explain everything in this chapter, but then I decided not to. If I did, then there wouldn't be much of a mystery for the rest of the story. It would all be pretty predicable and I really don't want that. This chapter is short, but... once again, I've got my reasons. Ta!
9. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 2: Don’t Look Now by Tron [Reviews - 4] (3193 words)
Shorter than most of the other chapter's but once again I have my reasons. Enjoy!
10. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 3: A Little Healthy Competition by Tron [Reviews - 4] (3274 words)
11. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 4: Introducing Lady Petra Rhodanthe by Tron [Reviews - 3] (5594 words)
Okay, the book that the Doctor, Jack and Martha are reading aloud close to the end of this chapter is called 'Pattern Recognition' by William Gibson. It's in the Science Fiction section, though Rassilon knows why. It's more cyberpunk than 'Star Wars', but there you go. I thought that it was the sort of book an intellegent person like Martha would enjoy reading. I know I did. I highly recomend it! Ta!
12. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 5: Verdant Boughs Abloom by Tron [Reviews - 4] (3302 words)
13. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 6: A Bit of a Nightmare by Tron [Reviews - 7] (4112 words)
There's full frontal nudity (even though I don't describe it, I'm sure you lot can imagine it for yourselves) and loads of cliches in this chapter. You were warned...
14. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 7: The Games We Play by Tron [Reviews - 3] (4545 words)
This bit's sort of a bridge, but it introduces Jack's little sub-plot which I thought you all might find interesting... Gets a little slashy, but there you go. Enjoy.
15. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 8: What We Want and What We Need by Tron [Reviews - 2] (5005 words)
Apparently I'm going to have to push back my little secret about Gabriel to chapter 11, simply because the events in the last two chapters were only supposed to be in one chapter but I ended up splitting it in two. It made more sense that way. This bit's mostly about Petra and the Doctor and their rather unique relationship. The next chapter's more of the same. It fleshes out Jack's little sub plot as well as a bit more info about Petra. The next chapter's going to be pretty short, but there you go. Enjoy this one, Ta!
16. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 9: Tête-à-tête by Tron [Reviews - 2] (3188 words)
Okay, I know ths ones short and doesn't have much plot in it, but well Time is short over here... Which brings me to my next point. Don't expect any chapters till Monday evening! I think... Depends on when I finish that essay, really. If I work diligantly on the essay, you might (MIGHT) see something before then. Maybe on Sunday night, who knows. But, point is, don't count on it. Enjoy this little chapter, though. Ta!
Oh, BTW I think we can all pretty much assume I'm a Jack/Ianto shipper. Those two are so cute together! I hope that explains a few things... Like the 'lover in Cardiff' comment.
17. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 10: Pelicans and Albatross by Tron [Reviews - 2] (4330 words)
Pelicans and Albatross have very definite meanings in both mythology and superstitions. The pelican in christian tradition was a metephor for Christ because the early european christians saw the pelican feeding it's young and believed that the bird was cutting open it's breast to feed it's offspring, sacrificing it's own life so that it's children might live. The Albatross is supposed to be a good omen to sailors, but if you shoot it you get bad luck and it becomes a burden. Hence the whole 'albatross about your neck' thing. Try and guess which bird relates to which character.
//Just thought I'd mention this. I've got two refrences to two of my favorite Scifi TV shows in this chpater. 1) 'Spaceland' is the name of the theme park in the "Cowboy Bebop" episoide 'Pierrot Le Fou'. 2) In "Red Dwarf" the character Rimmer is a hard-light Hologram starting from the episoide 'Legion'. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a scifi nerd! Hooray!//
18. Part 2: “Bad Wolves and Other Wildlife” - 11: The Left Hand of God by Tron [Reviews - 3] (5821 words)
The Archangle Gabriel is called the left hand of God... This chapter is just a tad bit graphic. You don't see any actual graphic violence, but you do read about the aftermath of it... Enjoy.
19. Part 3: “A Requiem for Gallifrey” - 1: Roman Recitative by Tron [Reviews - 2] (6438 words)
And this is the part for which you will all hate me... "The Twist" (note the capital letters and the quotation marks)! Yeah, I'm evil incarnate... I know. //Oh, BTW! I based Martha's favorite childhood toy on my favorite childhood toy! 'Cept my bear was a girl... most of the time. She was really more of a transgender bear come to think of it. First stuffed animal to switch genders!... I was a strange child. But I think you could have figured that out on your own.//
20. Part 3: “A Requiem for Gallifrey” - 2: The Doctor’s Aria by Tron [Reviews - 3] (5886 words)
Okay three little bits of terminology:
1) Aria: an opera term where one of the prinicples sings a solo usually about feelings or some other such rot.
2) M'feerra: my little made up word that is supposed to be Gallifreyan for 'beloved'.
3) Gazunder: a cricket term- a delivery that fails to bounce to the expected height after bouncing, thus beating the batsman. derived from 'goes under'.
21. Part 3: “A Requiem for Gallifrey” - 3: The Duet of Fortuna and Chronos by Tron [Reviews - 2] (3387 words)
Okay, I know it's been a while but I finally got caught up with the major part of my homework for C++ so now I can finally post the chapter I worked on. It slightly shorter than originally intended, but that's because you lot were so impatient and I had a lot of work to do. But that equals one more chapter than originally intended too, so now I've got the last chapter to write and then the epilogue! Enjoy! Ta!
22. Part 3: “A Requiem for Gallifrey” - 4: Il Finale by Tron [Reviews - 1] (3956 words)
This is technically the last chapter, but there is still the epilogue to go! I don't know exactly when I'm going to post that, so keep your shoes on... or something like that. Enjoy. And I hope that wraps up the story for you all. Ta!
23. Part 3: “A Requiem for Gallifrey” - Epilogue: Rose’s Lament by Tron [Reviews - 10] (559 words)
Short, but sweet.
