This is really good. I didn't even realize how tense I was until I got to the end of that last chapter. Thanks for writing!

Author's Response: I\'m glad you like the story - I hope the tension was the good kind, and I hope you stick around until the end.

Tension! Things happening! People suddenly appearing in elevators! I feel an action sequence coming on. I'll just make the popcorn and be right back.

Author's Response: Heh. Thank you - I *knew* I was going to make it as hard on myself as I made it for everyone else.

Guh. My heart's in my throat. The device of Lynda and Jack being guided by the voice is supremely handled and rendered to great effect (affect?). The memories of Lynda's parents are heartbreaking, and the pacing is just right. Your descriptions are masterful...I truly felt like I was there. Great work, and well worth the wait.

Author's Response: Thank you, my dear! I was afraid I had gone overboard with the description, but I admit that the station has become so real to me that they almost flowed from me, as opposed to me writing them. And now I\'ll find out just what Mr. Mayhew has been doing over the past hour or so; when he tells me, I\'ll get the word out!

Doctor Who and its accoutrements are the property of the BBC, and we obviously don't have any right to them. Any and all crossover characters belong to their respective creators. Alas no one makes any money from this site, and it's all done out of love for a cheap-looking sci-fi show. All fics are property of their individual authors.
