This was really good! I ADORE the backstory you gave John. Being the Doctor's companion in his early teens would explain *so much* about John's compulsion to seek out danger and his thing for tall, strange, hyper-intelligent men.

The strong emotions in this fic came through and punched me in the face. Poor broken John. Poor helpless Doctor. Lucky for them that the reason the Doctor thought the timeline had Sherlock living much longer is that he isn't actually dead.

Author's Response: Indeed :) It\'d be even worse if Sherlock\'s deadness were permanent :)

Not sure about this one...look what happened when he tried to fix Mars. As much as I love Sherlock he isn't more important than Mars and John is acting like the Master. Not fond of stories that abuse the Doctor... I hope there is a follow-up that makes more sense.

Author's Response: He was to John. And the Doctor said they couldn\'t go back and \"fix\" it.

Doctor Who and its accoutrements are the property of the BBC, and we obviously don't have any right to them. Any and all crossover characters belong to their respective creators. Alas no one makes any money from this site, and it's all done out of love for a cheap-looking sci-fi show. All fics are property of their individual authors. Despite occasional claims otherwise, The Blessed St Lalla Ward is not officially recognised by the Catholic Church. Yet.
