Reviews For Hope

Thank you for writing this series. I love it. The pain and the healing, the gaps that were filled...all of it is so very appreciated. Also, you wrote Martha and Jack so, so well. I appreciate both of them more after reading this.

Author's Response: So glad you thought so! I also grew to appreciate both of them more after this, and I wanted others to see that too! All three of them are such great characters who went through so much, (four, counting the TARDIS, of course) and their journey was as beautiful as it was painful.

I read this all in one go. Absolutely amazing with the voices of each and how they helped each other heal enough to go forward. Thank you so much for adding the Tardis to the healing process, you are so right about how the ending scene comes so swiftly that some kind of healing must have come in between. Clive and Francine being germane in offering the space for the healing is just the right tone. Jack's realization that the Tardis is truly alive in her own right and suffered as much or more throught the Year, what it took for the Doctor to bring her back around and for Her to bring the Doctor back around. ... Everything was in in its place, the voices were just right, the interpretations of the looks at th end: an extremely satisfying read. More satisfying because most of the stories make the healing more sexual, which I guess can be true in certain contexts, but probably not in this one. Thank you.

Author's Response: Wow! I\'m really touched by all your reviews! This series is the most of myself I\'ve ever poured into my writing, and I\'m so glad you liked it! I felt that the healing process was so important, for all four of these characters, and also Martha\'s family. I definately wanted to keep any sort of sexual undertones out of the way, when I could, because I think that the friendship between these characters is so much more meaningful when you take sex out of the equation. It makes it more pure and heartfelt, in a way. They all depend on each other, and I\'m so, so glad you liked reading them as much as I did writing them.

Oh this was so beautiful and a wonderful way to wrap up you're series. I'll miss your writing for these. Are you planning on writing anything else, as the moment. :)

Author's Response: Oh yeah. I\'ve still got to wrap up my Twelfth Doctor series, and I\'ve got some more ideas for stories. I\'ll never stop writing, I think. But I\'m proud of how this one ended. Thanks for all your reviews!!!! <3

I hated seeing this story end as much as I hated seeing Jack and Martha leave the Doctor on his own...this has been a love story of the purest, most chaste kind. Bless you for such a wonderful, moving story!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you so much! That is honestly one of the best compliments you could give me! I\'m glad you loved this series so much, and thank you so much for your reviews. They have made me smile many a time.

I'm sad that this series is over, because I enjoyed every story so, so much. Every one was perfect, and I was always excited to read them. You did such a great job with each stage of their healing, and put the canon-ending into perfect context. Great job every step of the way. :)

Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your reviews always made my day, and I\'m so glad you liked this last one. I\'m going to miss this series a lot, but I\'m proud of finishing on a strong note. Thanks again for the wonderful review! :D
