I don't care for Martha but twisting and turning Rowana into her actually makes sense, in a weird, wibbly wobbly way. I like it.

It actually made sense as long as you stuck with Gallifreyans.

This is completely implausible and could never possibly happen... this is completely implausible and could never possibly happen... this is completely implausible and could never possibly happen... maybe if I say it often enough I'll actually believe it. Maybe.
This is really good, and so almost convincing. But only almost. Definitely only almost. (Yeah... right. ;) )

Wow, that was weird, dark and totally brilliant. And somehow the theory works! Congrats on that. *hands over a gold star*

Very brave, very well-written and very original.

I know I'll be re-reading this late at night when my min is more accepting of crackfic and I'll start believing the theory!

How did you manage to take what should be a conglomeration of absolute crack, and make it into a touching story? My head is spinning a bit, but I like it!

What a theory! And what a fic! It was brilliant!

TARDIS_stowaway2008.08.03 - 03:37AM1: the tick of a watch drives you less mad than the drums, but it's hauntingSigned
Mad, yes, but intriguing and well-crafted!

carawj2008.08.02 - 07:26PM1: the tick of a watch drives you less mad than the drums, but it's hauntingSigned
Weird and crazy and thus completely fantastic! Wonderfully written too!

Kittenmommy2008.02.27 - 12:03PM1: the tick of a watch drives you less mad than the drums, but it's hauntingSigned
Wow. The final lines of this fic gave me shivers!

Author's Response: It\'s rather dark for something so mad, I\'ll admit.

Found this on a random trawl of Martha Multi-Era fics... Intriguing and interesting - slightly demented but so's the Canon stuff, so what the hell! Well done.

Author's Response: Thanks. I like the strangeness.

Howlcastle2008.01.20 - 05:56PM1: the tick of a watch drives you less mad than the drums, but it's hauntingSigned
A crazy theory indeed, but very interestingly done. A brave story.

Author's Response: Thank you. The idea started as a joke, then when I began writing it, it turned out more like a proper story.

Very well written, I'm impressed by how you've made it fit together so well! Makes it seem very plausible... if not canon, certainly an interesting possibilty.

Author's Response: Thanks. It\'s one of the great things about Doctor Who; the whole things on such a scale that you can slide reality around like puzzle pieces without directly contracting canon.

*head explodes*

For a theory that really could never apply, this was amazingly well-crafted and believable. Wow. Poor Doctor, trying to juggle all these paradoxes at once.

Fantastic job! I really loved it, good balance and description throughout. You get a gold star. *stars you*

Author's Response: Thanks tremendously! It was fun trying to get it to logically slot into place, even if it\'s a bit too mad to be believable.

This is inventive, and well written, although I freely admit that I see little of Romana in Martha. (I like Martha a lot, but she was the victim of bad writing in the show, or of bad perception on my part.) Glad you wrote it, though!

Author's Response: Thanks. I\'ll admit, the Martha-Romana association\'s pretty much my personal thing, and I can\'t really explain it. I\'m glad it made for a good read.
