OMG, this is utterly heart breaking. You've had me in tears because it's so close to reality in the fact that the Doctor does give up everything and can never have what he most desires. The last series finale shows that more than anything. This story is amazing! But it's so heart breaking too. I don't imagine we'll get a happy ending. *sniffs*
I also love the bit about time correcting itself. It seems so right and yet so scary. It's Back to the Future all over again! lol ; P
Author's Response: Thank you so much! :) We're glad you're enjoying it. As for a happy ending, well...that'd be telling, wouldn't it? |

Jack go easy on him.
The eventually effect could have been MUCH worse... Et tu Valeyard?
Author's Response: Oh, definitely. It would've been so easy for the Doctor to tip over into the Valeyard mentality, especially after what's happened to him so far. Thank you :) |

Stupid causality loops, stupid wibbley, wobbley timey-wimey stuff and it's stupid, stupid instability. And STUPID Doctor for thinking he can ever get away with this! Sniff.
Still, loving this story, and loving the Doctor despite his selfishness and short-sightedness... aw, who could blame him, really?
Author's Response: Timey-whimey stuff is awesome to play with, just sayin' ;) The biggest thing here is that the Doctor's in denial. Major, major denial. This is just a splash of really cold water on his face. Thank you so much! |

Ooowh why do they have to be always separated? Its not fair! Great chapter even if it was terribly sad. Bit scared at how his memories are changing.
Author's Response: He's scared too. He thought he could get away with it, but sadly time doesn't work that way :( Thank you! |

Ha ... now I'm leaving you reviews all over the place, lol. This is a touching continuation, complete with generous lashings of angst and a grinding sense of inevitability that I hope ... *hope* ... still allows for a happy ending. Because - when you boil it down - I'm a sucker for happy endings.
Author's Response: *giggles* You won't see me objecting! Thank you so much :) |

Back again. I think I just about devoured that chapter. It's definitely the little things that get to me here. The fact that it is Suzie who survives while all the rest of the Torchwood team perish is a bitter irony. Jack finally relenting and hugging Rose came at just the right time, angry Jack is not my favourite. And now a causality loop. You guys think of everything! Will Rose go back before she disappears? It's a possibility (as everything seems to be in this tale). Here I am hoping yet again that you get the next chapter up soon...
Author's Response: You'll be getting to find out in about an hour as to what happens next ;) Thank you! |

I'm almost at a loss for words. I knew it had to be repaired but I hate it that he can't have her. He deserves her. Even if it can't be now. I hope you don't take too long getting the rest of it up so this tightness in my stomach goes away. I'm almost dreading the ending.
Author's Response: Aww, to put things into a brighter perspective, there are 9 chapters in total to this story. ;) So more to come! Thank you |

Bravo! THe question now stands can he really let go of her a second time without completly loosing himself? Update soon :)
Author's Response: That's a good question. Especially considering the place he is now and how much guilt he's added on to his already massive load... Thank you! New chapter tonight. |

Oh, holy hell. I don't think he is capable of losing her a second time and still be able to stay sane, not after this.
Author's Response: Anything is possible - even in the most unlikely of circumstances. Thank you! |

This is heart breaking and lovely (in a timey whimey way). You have captured the Doctor's anguish and Rose's loyal, loving, wildly sad realization about what has to happen. Jack and Rose's conversation was perfect too.
I have never read anything like this. Every chapter leaves me a bit stunned by both my emotional response and by how much in awe of you two I feel. Wow.
Author's Response: Wow. I've been sitting here, reading this review, and trying to figure out just how to respond to this. My co-author and I thank you so very much for the fantastic compliment. We both believe that this story has really brought the best out of both of us and we're really pleased that you're enjoying this. :) Thank you again! |

I've been on the verge of tears the entire time I've read this update... Oh, how horrible! Yet, it's the only way. =( Poor Doctor, what Past!Ten must have gone through because of Present!Ten... and poor Rose, having to choose to take away forever, regardless of her consequences.
This is being masterfully done, bravo! Thank you so much for sharing! I can't wait until you post again!
Author's Response: Awww *passes tissues* Thank you so much! We'll be posting the next chapter tonight :) |
