I am so impressed by this little gem of a fic! Loving it utterly! A very new and inspired story to read is always a good thing! You are a fantastic writer. I love this whole thread of senses and being without them. Love the OT3 goodness.

Looking forward to more updates! BRAVO!

Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it so much! Thank you for reviewing. :-)

Of course your not being mean to your characters.
I understand healing takes time. The Doctor's still not 100 percent but he will be in time.
I think just as the Doctor's starting to heal we might have a problem with Rose and her overwhelming guilt to being forced to inflict pain on the Doctor.

Author's Response: Both Rose and Jack will have emotions to deal with, as well as the Doctor. This story hasn\'t been particularly easy on any of them, I guess. Thank you for reviewing! :-)

Oh, sad. I love the TARDIS getting squicked about the mud. It bothers me more in general when she gets hurt than when a human does on the show (what does that say about me, and does the Doctor feel the same way)?

I hope he remembers to brush his teeth before his taste sense comes back. Or not, because it'd be potentially funny.

Author's Response: Brushing his teeth... gosh, I hadn\'t even thought about that! Thank you for reviewing. :-)

Bless the TARDIS she knows what the Doctor needs as she boots him out to heal further on his own ... no wonder he got angry. He must be so frustrated too. Being cruel to be kind I suppose. Looking forward to Jack's kiss and also maybe a few from Rose too? Thanks for updating.

Author's Response: Plenty of Jack kisses to go around in the next part. Thank you for reviewing! :-)

I just love how the Doctor has retained his composure as much as possible. He flips out, he's a mass of twitchy nerves and instincts, but he's still the Doctor. The images of him curled up under the console were just heartbreaking!

Author's Response: I\'m glad his character still shines through in my writing, even as I keep putting him through such horrible stuff. Thank you for reviewing! :-)

Clever! Still painful as all get out, but a very clever way of going about this. I love that Ten just threw himself into the mental link with the TARDIS, even though they're not meant to be that closely intertwined. For something that he regarded as a salvation to also be holding him back, for him to have to let go in order to heal...god, this story just hurts. I want Rose and Jack to hug the Doctor. I want the Doctor to willingly hug them, to initiate contact... Have you posted the next chapter yet? :)

Author's Response: I haven\'t even written it yet! But it is outlined, so you won\'t have long to wait. As for the Doctor initiating contact... that might take a while longer. He\'s really been through the wringer in this one. Thank you for reviewing! :-)

You’re all going to hate me for this. Here’s part ten, in which progress is made, and lost… lest you think that I was actually going to start being nice to my poor characters!

With six chapters to go, I was expecting exactly that ;) And, actually, you haven't been that cruel. Yes, the TARDIS is pushing him away, but he needs that push. And he still trusts Jack and Rose, so no problems there :) The only really heartwrenching thing is that the rest of his senses haven't returned, but you hint that's because he was clinging to the TARDIS and his telepathic link too closely. Now there should be more healing, I hope :)

Still waiting for that Jack kiss, by the way ;)

Author's Response: I\'m so glad it doesn\'t just read as me being awful to him again! More healing soon, both physical and emotional. And a Jack kiss, as well! :-)
