Reviews For Sense

Aww poor Doctor! I love how he relied on Rose's pulse to tell the time. That was a great bit of thinking and very Doctor-ish! This is great, I'm really enjoying this.

Author's Response: The pulses were one of those bits that just suddenly occurs as you\'re writing and then wind up a huge part of the fic. Glad you liked it! :-)

Happy Birthday - been following this story and loving it so much that I had to create a username here just so I'd know when updates came along!

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m honored that you created a username to follow my story. :-)

Happy Birthday! But *sob* poor Doctor! It just feels so, well, real. The way you convey the Doctor's fears, the terror of having nothing but a sense of touch to ground him, it's absolutely magnificent. I do look forward to the comfort part of this one, because he's definitely going to need a lot of patching up to get through it. :( *hugs Ten gingerly, since it hurts him*

Author's Response: Thank you! Poor Ten... I can\'t seem to help but put him through all sorts of horrible things. But don\'t worry, I never neglect the comfort part of hurt/comfort. :-)

Oh, you really, really love hurting him! Touch is painful, but he suffers it because it's all he has left (and I loved him taking comfort from Rose's pulse under his fingers), but then you tear him away from the two of them :(

You're doing a great job, too, of showing us what's going on even from the perspective of a Doctor who can't see, hear or speak, let alone use his other senses. The way he knows when Jack's speaking, or when he's angry or trying to fight - the picture is vivid even without full description. Love it :)

Author's Response: That bit about the pulses really is my favorite. And I\'m glad the descriptions in this part had the effectiveness I was hoping for, even without any dialogue. Thank you for reviewing! :-)

Happy Birthday, and if this is the way you celebrate your birthday, I wish it were your birthday every day! :) There's nothing quite like a good Doctor whumping fic to start the weekend with...

Author's Response: Thank you! Me, too! :-)

Happy Birthday! I'm almost afraid to ask how you celebrate Christmas (or Hannukah, or Solstice-- fill in the blank)!

Still loving it, and looking forward to more. :-)

Author's Response: Thank you! As for Christmas... more of the same, probably. It\'s what I\'m best at writing! :-)

Happy birthday! :) And ohhh, wow, what a story... I loved the bit about Rose's pulse. That was wonderful. But it's so unfair! Poor Doctor!

Author's Response: Thank you! The pulse thing is my favorite bit. :-)

Well, happy birthday, I guess -- not the usual way to celebrate (character whumping) but it *is* your day. ;) Looking forward to the rest!! Just found this and got caught up.

Author's Response: Thank you! There will be more soon. :-)
