Reviews For Regrets

That was gutsy - and gut-wrenching. The last bit - with the throwing of the whatsit, and the "mocking joviality"... was it just me, or was there a faint Northern flavor, there? A hint of leather and ears...

Loved it!

Author's Response: I hadn\'t thought about it at the time, but in retrospect, perhaps. Talking about how she knew he needed her. *sniffles* Thank you for the review!

Wow. Quite amazing, this one. I love all your work, but this one--well, it takes the cake. I adore the Doctor here, and I don't think he's at all over the top...he's just perfect. Stressed. Lonely. Hurting. And your Martha is spot-on, too; great job pointing out all the things she *didn't* know and having her react to them.

Author's Response: Thanks very much! I was worried when I wrote this that I was being too harsh to Martha, or too melodramatic with the Doctor, but comments like yours assure me that (at least for some people) I wasn\'t. I really appreciate your comments!

OMG! Was Recommended in LJ, I just had to read. I liked Martha, but this was a GREAT FIC. Honest and weirdly and welcomingly un-smushy.

Author's Response: Thanks very much. I usually lean towards the mushier end of the spectrum, but sometimes, it\'s just not what\'s called for. I\'m glad you enjoyed it. :)

Poor Martha and Ten. So much emotion in this fic, you've really hit the nail on the head with it. I do wonder sometimes what would have happened with Martha and Ten if it hadnt been for Rose.

Author's Response: Yeah, it\'s possible they could have had an entirely different kind of relationship if it hadn\'t been for him loving and losing Rose. I\'m kind of not sure, though. Thanks so much for the review. :)

Holy god! That had me choked up! You nailed it--perfectly! Was this a deleted scene? This rare moment of the Time Lord losing his grip--perfectly written. This shall be treasured!

Author's Response: Thank you SO much. I wish it fit better with canon (it did when I wrote it, post Utopia), but I\'m glad it holds up and still resonates. Comments like yours make my day. :)

I think you nailed the Doctor emotions and voice down on this one.

Author's Response: Ah, thank you. Someone once said they couldn\'t see the Doctor cursing. I figured he was pretty well worked up. ;)

Wow!!! That was so good, and VERY realistic!! I'd love to see some thing of that nature happen in Sound Of Drums!!!!! *Adds to faves*

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Realistic is one of the best comments to get. yay! :)

*ducks from glass* Very realistic! I wonder if something like that will happen in The Sound of Drums... I hope so :)

Author's Response: I was wondering if I should have Martha, duck. :) I hope we get...SOMETHING about this. And thanks.

"... Shes out there, right now on the other side of that void. Alive. And Ill never ever see her again."

Never say never ever, Doctor. Anyway, very believable dialog between Martha and The Doctor. Great writing!

Author's Response: \"Never say never ever, Doctor.\" I\'m glad you caught that! That was my little ray of hope. Thanks so much for the comments.

Wow. What can I say? That was bloody great! They say a picture = 100 words, so...
*Adds to favourites*

Author's Response: \"That was bloody great!\" That\'s plenty to say. Thanks so much! :)
