Good Lord, I'm only to the 2nd chapter and I already want to cry over Wash and tea! I hope you pick this story up again soon. I'm not even half way through and it's so good. You have Serenity's crew's voices down so well. I love it!

Loved the description of The Standoff. You really know how to write for these characters.

Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m really glad you think so; I love all of them, and try to \"do right\" by them. :)

The 'Verse is obviously no place for me...tea is rare?! lol Loved the stand-off, so to speak, with Jack Vs Inara. hehe

Author's Response: Tea is rare out on the Rim, and if you\'re running a ship that\'s barely scraping by financially, you\'re not going to be able to afford it regularly. It\'s common in the Core, though, and given the mix of American/Chinese culture, it\'s interesting to speculate whether tea or coffee has the upper hand in popularity . . .

LOL! Simon *always* misses something! I love this! Firefly is always a good show to crossover with, it seems, no matter what the fandom! ~Inny

Author's Response: The characters in Firefly are so great and well-defined (by Whedon\'s writing, and the great actors who played them), they really would work in just about any crossover setting. Thanks for the kind review, I think Simon\'ll be getting a surprise at the start of the next chapter, to make up for missing out (evil laugh!)

*laughs* I really enjoyed the meeting of Jack and Inara. I could really see it in my head. And then Simon walks in. lol.

Author's Response: I was running characters through my head, figuring how the\'d respond to each other, and the image of two experienced seducers flexing their, er, muscles at each other really tickled me -- glad you found it entertaining, too! And poor Simon, he misses so much of the good stuff . . .

Doctor Who and its accoutrements are the property of the BBC, and we obviously don't have any right to them. Any and all crossover characters belong to their respective creators. Alas no one makes any money from this site, and it's all done out of love for a cheap-looking sci-fi show. All fics are property of their individual authors.
